Job description
We are looking for an HR Specialist to help fill in on someone who is on maternity leave-
Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day administration of employee benefits and leave of absence programs .
Serve as a point of contact for employee and manager questions related to HR programs, benefits, leaves, and HR processes.
Respond to employee and manager requests in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner.
Maintain accurate employee information, documentation, and transactions within the HRIS.
Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding activities in coordination with the broader HR team.
Run routine HR reports and assist with data audits across internal HR and vendor systems.
Support benefits, leave, and headcount reporting.
Maintain and update standard HR communications, templates, and employee resources.
Assist with required HR compliance documentation and reporting, including EEO-1 and OSHA-related information.
Support immigration paperwork and documentation as needed under the guidance of senior HR team members.
Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, HRIS, and other internal teams to resolve employee issues and ensure accurate HR processes.
Participate in HR team meetings and contribute to ongoing process improvement and knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in an HR support, HR operations, benefits, or related role.
Working knowledge of employee benefits and leave administration .
Experience maintaining employee information and completing transactions within an HRIS.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow issues through to resolution.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
