Job description
Cameron County Public Health Environmental Health Program seeks an Animal Control Officer to investigate cruelty/neglect cases, enforce county ordinances, and coordinate the adoption program.
The role includes shelter duties, care for impounded animals, euthanasia when required, after-hours work, and documentation. A valid Texas driver’s license and TDSHS ACO certification are required or obtained within six months.
