The more successful each team member is, the more successful the company will be.We are looking for energetic, engaging, knowledgeable, and dedicated individuals to join our team that can help us uphold our core values to Make the Team Better, Make it Happen, and Make Their Day.The Opportunity:The Store Manager will be located at our Crestwood location and will be responsible for managing all aspects of store operations, including: sales, customer service, pricing, profitability and customer perception. The position will supervise up to 5 direct reports, including: Counter Sales and Service Associates, Warehouse staff, and Delivery Drivers. A candidate for this position must possess excellent managerial skills and a working knowledge of business. Direct experience in the HVACR industry is necessary, but experience managing store operations in similar environment or parallel industry is helpful.The successful candidate will possess the following:Required:High School Diploma / GED requiredMinimum of 2 years experience in store management/operations in a wholesale environment.Demonstrated ability to manage profit and loss in order to maximize financial performance in a wholesale environment.Excellent people management skills, including recruiting and hiring, training and development, delegating, coaching, and evaluating employees.General knowledge of inventory management principles and procedures, including procurement, storage, forecasting and handling dead inventory.Ability to use PC-based spreadsheets and word processing programs (MS Word/Excel).Strong written and oral communication skills.Motivated and results driven, with a strong drive to succeed and demonstrated success in managing people.Preferred:College degree in a relevant field (e.g. business).3 or more years of successful store management experience in HVACR or similar industry.Additional Job InformationBenefits:Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Insurance (after 90 days)Vision, dental and other ancillary programs through Mutual of Omaha (after 90 days)Employer Sponsored Life Insurance ($50,000) (after 90 days)Employer sponsored Long Term Disability6 Paid HolidaysUp to 15 days vacation and sick time (after 90 days)401k Plan (3% 100% match, 4-5% 50% match)Johnstone University online trainingJohnstone University off-site training
