Job Description Job Description The HVAC - Gas Installer specializes in the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas lines and related HVAC components primarily on residential projects. Working independently and reporting to the Operations Manager, this role involves hands-on tasks such as site preparation, installation of copper and black iron pipes, brazing, flaring copper tubing, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The position requires regular travel to multiple sites and offers growth opportunities through cross-training in other HVAC disciplines.
Responsibilities
Install and repair gas lines, including copper and black iron pipe installation and brazing
Troubleshoot gas line issues and HVAC system components
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and local codes
Prepare job sites for installation and conduct testing and inspection
Interact professionally with customers during installations and service calls
Work independently while managing multiple residential project sites
Travel regularly to various job sites as required
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience in HVAC installation
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in gas line installation and repair
Strong safety compliance record
Excellent troubleshooting skills
