HVAC Inside SalesSt Paul Branch - St Paul, MN 55103OverviewSalary Range $25.00 - $32.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day Education Level High School Travel Percentage None Category Customer ServiceDescriptionThe HVAC Inside Sales position works hand-in-hand with customers and Outside Sales Representatives to ensure that product needs are processed accurately and in a timely manner. They deliver strong customer service and a willingness to expand their product knowledge to best help the needs of our customers.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesBuild relationships with customers who are calling in and placing product orders.Interact with customers before, during, and after a sale, including taking phone orders and servicing walk-in customers.Ensure that customer orders are entered and processed in a timely manner.Verify order delivery method for accuracy.Coordinate customer sales orders with Outside Sales Representatives.Identify customer needs and suggest products that best fit their needs.QualificationsMinimum RequirementsKnowledge in HVAC and hydronic equipment and applicationsGreat communication and problem-solving skills.Business math skills with understanding of profit marginsWillingness to learn new product knowledge.High school diploma or GED preferred.Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position preferred.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are a sample of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.May occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.Regular use of arms, hands and fingers to feel, grasp, type and reach.Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period time.Close vision requirements due to computer work.Work EnvironmentOffice atmosphere.
