Job Description Job Description As an HVAC Installer, you will support a balanced mix of new construction and replacement/retrofit residential installations as part of an installer-and-helper team reporting to the general manager. You will complete quality installations from start to finish, communicate professionally with customers, and provide a full system walkthrough and orientation after each project. This role offers a path toward installation supervisor.
Responsibilities
Install and replace residential HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps.
Install ductwork, refrigerant connections, electrical connections, thermostats, and condensate systems.
Commission completed systems and troubleshoot installation issues.
Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment installation specifications.
Communicate professionally with customers and provide full system walkthroughs and orientations.
Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition.
Complete installations efficiently, safely, and with close attention to quality workmanship.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
Experience with both new construction and replacement/retrofit installations.
Strong knowledge of residential heating and cooling systems.
Ability to work independently and complete jobs correctly with limited supervision.
Ability to lift and maneuver HVAC equipment and work in confined or physically demanding areas.
Preferred Qualifications
HVAC certificate or diploma.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Experience with residential HVAC systems, furnace installation, air conditioner installation, and heat pump installation.
Knowledge of ductwork, refrigeration systems, electrical wiring, and blueprint reading.
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
