Job description
Job Description Job Description Lead Residential HVAC Installer
Multi-Day Installs • Year-Round Work
Tired of racing the clock on a new install every single day?
At Smart Air Cooling and Heating, we do residential HVAC differently. Most companies in the Austin area push crews to finish a complete install in one day, then do it all over again tomorrow. That pace means rushed work, long days, constant pressure, and callbacks.
Our installs are multi-day projects. You'll have the time to do the job right, take pride in your work, and go home without feeling like you just ran a marathon.
Why Installers Like Working at Smart Air
Top pay: $100K-$125K per year. Strong earnings without the one-day-install grind.
Time to do quality work. Multi-day projects mean clean line sets, proper brazing and nitrogen purging, correct charging, and tidy finishes, not shortcuts to beat the clock.
Less stress, more control. You're not loading, driving, setting up, and tearing down at a new house every day.
You settle into one job and work at a steady, professional pace.
Fewer callbacks. When the work isn't rushed, it's done right the first time.
Consistent, year-round installs. No feast-or-famine seasons. We keep a steady pipeline of residential work all year long.
Real leadership role. You'll run the job, guide your crew, and be the go-to person homeowners trust.
401(k) to help you plan for the future.
Paid time off so you can actually rest.
