Job Description Job Description We are seeking an HVAC Lead Installer to oversee a team of 2-3 installers while installing, servicing, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Reporting to the Installation Manager, this role will coordinate work on-site across new construction, residential replacement, geothermal, and mixed project types, with daily local travel between job sites.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate a crew of 2-3 HVAC installers on-site.
Train and mentor installation team members.
Install and replace heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Complete new construction, residential replacement, and geothermal installations.
Perform sheet metal work, brazing, electrical wiring, venting, and gas piping.
Coordinate daily on-site installation activities and travel between local job sites.
Inspect equipment and perform repairs and replacements as needed.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
At least 2 years of HVAC installation experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
EPA Section 608 certification.
State HVAC license.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with HVAC installation and wiring diagrams.
Electrical troubleshooting skills.
Sheet metal fabrication and brazing experience.
Experience with gas piping and geothermal systems.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Team leadership experience.
Knowledge of safety procedures.
