RCLMechanicalislookingforanexperiencedResidentialPlumbing&HVACWorkingFieldLeadTechnician whocanrepresentourcorevalueswhileprovidingstrongtechnicalleadershipandsupporttoourresidentialfieldteam.
Thisindividualwillnotonlysuperviseandsupportourtechnicians—theywillalsoworkinthefieldperformingresidentialservice,diagnostic,repair,andinstallationworkaspartoftheirregularresponsibilities.
Wearelookingforsomeonewhocanleadfromthefield.Onedayyoumayberunningyourownservicecalls,andthenextyoumaybeassistingatechnicianwithadifficultdiagnosis,inspectinganinstallation,coachingateammember,orhelpingresolveacustomerconcern.
YouwillworkcloselywithourServiceManagertoimprovefieldefficiency,technicalperformance,quality,accountability,andcustomersatisfaction.Theidealcandidateisahighlyexperiencedresidentialtechnicianwhocanconfidentlyperformtheworkthemselveswhilealsoteachinganddevelopingothers.

Reviewcompletedinstallationsandrepairsforworkmanship,properoperation,andcodecompliance
Helpreducecallbacksandrepeatservicevisitsthroughtechnicalcoachingandqualityassurance
Conductdailytechniciancheckoutsandensureaccuratecompletionofworkorders
Monitorfieldproductivity,performance,andefficiency
Identifytechniciantrainingneedsandassistwithongoingtechnicaldevelopment
HoldtechniciansaccountabletoRCLMechanical'sperformanceandworkmanshipstandards
EnforceworkplacesafetypoliciesandOSHArequirements
Ensuretechniciansmaintainclean,safe,andprofessionaljobsites
Assistwithdifficultcustomersituationswhenfieldleadershiportechnicalexpertiseisneeded

MinimumJobRequirements
5+yearsofhands-onresidentialPlumbingand/orHVACserviceexperience
Strongknowledgeandhands-onexperienceservicingandtroubleshootingoil-firedheatingsystemsrequired
Mustbewillingandabletoregularlyperformservicecallsandfieldworkinadditiontosupervisoryresponsibilities
Strongworkingknowledgeofresidentialheatingandcoolingsystems,including: Oil-firedheatingsystems
Gas-firedheatingsystems
Boilersandhydronicheatingsystems
