Responsibilities
Service & Repair
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration equipment, including walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, and ice machines.
Service residential and light-commercial HVAC systems.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
Identify equipment problems and recommend appropriate repairs or solutions.
Preventative Maintenance
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Maintain equipment to help ensure reliable, efficient operation for contract customers.
Document service work and communicate findings professionally.
Installation
Lead or assist with the installation of new heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
Installers will have opportunities to cross-train in service and refrigeration.
Maintain a high standard of workmanship, safety, and professionalism on every installation.
Customer Service
Provide professional, courteous service to customers throughout the Research Triangle area.
Communicate clearly with customers regarding equipment issues, repairs, and recommended solutions.
Represent CSR professionally while working at customer locations.
Qualifications
Minimum 1-5 years of HVAC/R service or installation experience .
Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles and HVAC systems.
Experience with electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Ability and willingness to learn new equipment and systems, including scientific laboratory and commercial kitchen applications.
Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to learn.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Professional attitude and strong customer-service skills.
Valid North Carolina driver's license with a clean driving record.
Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.

Work Location & Travel
This is an on-the-road position based out of southern Durham, NC, near Highway 147 and I-40. Employees are expected to reliably commute to the Durham location during the work week and travel to customer sites throughout Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Research Triangle Park, and surrounding areas .
