Overview
A stable, rapidly growing HVAC mechanical company serving Central/Northern New Jersey is seeking an HVAC Service Manager to lead and expand its commercial service department. This is a non-union position with significant opportunity for growth as the company aggressively builds out its service operations.
What you'll do
Oversee scheduling, execution, billing, and completion of service, warranty, and emergency jobs
Develop a P&L budget and meet revenue and gross margin targets
Communicate with customers, vendors, suppliers, and technicians to execute plans and programs
Conduct monthly financial performance analysis, report findings to management, and take corrective action as needed
Manage assets efficiently, including inventory and company service vehicles
Build a high-performance culture through annual performance reviews and development initiatives
Supervise, train, and develop all branch HVAC Service Technicians (25 Technicians)
Required qualifications
Stable employment history and a proven track record of success
Preferred qualifications
Ideally 4-5+ years of experience leading and growing a commercial HVAC service department
