About The Position
The Crew – AC & Plumbing is looking for a skilled, dependable, and customer-focused HVAC Service Technician to join our team.
Our technicians diagnose, repair, maintain, and service residential HVAC systems while providing professional, honest, and courteous service to every customer.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems.
Service air conditioners, heat pumps, gas furnaces, package units, air handlers, mini-splits, thermostats, and control systems.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, airflow, and control problems.
Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
Accurately identify problems and recommend appropriate repairs.
Clearly explain issues and repair options to customers.
Complete service calls safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Maintain accurate service documentation and invoices.
Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and tools.
Communicate with the office regarding job status, parts, and follow-up needs.
Follow company safety procedures and applicable codes.
Participate in an on-call or emergency service rotation as needed.

Has previous HVAC service experience.
Has strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Can work independently and take ownership of each service call.
Communicates clearly and professionally with homeowners.

Is dependable and takes pride in their work.
Works well as part of a team.
Qualifications
Required:
HVAC service experience
Knowledge of residential HVAC systems
Ability to use electrical meters and HVAC diagnostic equipment
Valid driver's license and good driving record
Strong customer-service and communication skills
Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and other challenging environments
Preferred:
EPA 608 certification
Install experience
Light Commercial service experience
Variable-speed/inverter experience
Compensation & Benefits
$26–$30 per hour, based on experience
