Job Description Job Description The HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves regular local travel to job sites and requires adherence to safety compliance standards, ensuring efficient and reliable system performance. The technician will work both independently and as part of small to medium-sized teams, with typical hours during standard business times and on-call availability for overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
Install HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings
Perform routine maintenance and necessary repairs
Diagnose system issues and conduct effective troubleshooting
Handle wiring and electrical components safely
Test system performance to ensure optimal operation
Provide excellent customer service and communication
Follow all safety protocols and compliance regulations
Calibrate equipment to manufacturer specifications
Document work performed and system statuses accurately
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience in HVAC roles
Valid driver's license for local travel to sites
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Experience with HVAC system installation and troubleshooting
Knowledge of electrical wiring and refrigeration systems
Strong customer communication skills
Effective time management abilities
Familiarity with safety procedures in HVAC work
