Job Description Job Description The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires working both independently and collaboratively with a small team, providing technical expertise while ensuring safety compliance and high-quality client service. The technician will occasionally respond to emergency or on-call service requests and is expected to travel regionally to job sites.
Responsibilities
Install residential, commercial, and mixed-type HVAC systems
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of HVAC equipment
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC system malfunctions and failures
Conduct system testing to ensure efficiency and safety
Consult with clients to assess needs and provide technical recommendations
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure regulatory compliance
Document all work performed accurately and timely
Provide emergency HVAC service as required on an occasional basis
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years experience in HVAC technology
Technical diploma in HVAC or related field
EPA Section 608 Certification
Experience with HVAC system installation and refrigeration
Knowledge of electrical systems associated with HVAC
Strong customer service and time management skills
Familiarity with safety protocols in HVAC environments
