Location: Bellefonte, Pennsylvania - In-Person
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Starting pay Range: $22-$30/hour (based on experience and qualifications)
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting both HVAC equipment, mainly heat pumps. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a variety of environments - from rooftops to mechanical rooms.This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in HVAC and renewable energy. There is opportunity for cross training with solar energy and energy storage equipment.
Responsibilities:
Install, service, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems (ducted and ductless).
Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant-related issues.
Conduct preventative maintenance and performance checks.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Maintain accurate job documentation and service records.
Follow all OSHA, EPA, and company safety procedures.
Work collaboratively with project managers, electricians, and other team members.
Travel to job sites locally and occasionally overnight (up to once a quarter)
Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ years of experience in HVAC.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
Preferred:
OSHA 10 certification.
EPA 608 certification (Type II, or Universal).
HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent technical training.
Experience with inverter-based mini-splits or PV system troubleshooting.
