Job Description Job Description As an HVAC Technician working primarily in residential and mixed environments, you will specialize in servicing central air conditioning systems, heat pumps, and furnaces. This role involves frequent travel to various job sites and requires high levels of customer interaction. You will perform routine and emergency maintenance, ensure safety compliance, and maintain precise documentation. Your expertise will help ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and inspection of HVAC systems
Troubleshoot and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment
Test system components for proper functionality
Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance during all tasks
Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and equipment status
Calibrate HVAC equipment to manufacturer specifications
Replace faulty parts and components as needed
Respond to emergency repair calls occasionally
Travel frequently between residential and mixed job sites
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years experience in HVAC systems
Vocational training in HVAC technology
Valid HVAC Technician License
Preferred Qualifications
Skilled in HVAC system diagnostics
Knowledge of electrical systems related to HVAC
Experience with preventive maintenance programs
Strong customer communication skills
Effective time management abilities
Proficient problem-solving skills
