Job Description Job Description About the Role: Abbott Brothers Plumbing and Heating is looking for a skilled HVACR Technician to join their growing team in Joppa, MD! Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system failures in HVACR equipment
Perform routine preventive maintenance on residential and/or commercial HVACR systems
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Ensure all work meets local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications
Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repairs, and recommendations
Maintain accurate service records and document all work performed
Requirements: Proven experience as an HVACR Technician or similar role
EPA 608 Certification required
Strong knowledge of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose HVACR equipment efficiently
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field
