Job description
About Stride
Stride Autism Centers was built differently. Founded by a family with firsthand experience navigating autism, we set out to create something better for children, families, and the clinicians who serve them. Today, we operate 23 award-winning, center-based ABA clinics across Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, and South Dakota, and we're growing.
71% of our clients mainstream into general education classrooms after Stride. 98% of parents report meaningful improvements in their child's ability to initiate communication. Those outcomes are only possible because of the quality of our clinical team.
The Role
This is a hybrid BCBA position supporting our Sioux City center. You'll be on site in Sioux City one day per week and work remotely the remaining days. Your weekly on-site day is flexible and will be determined in coordination with leadership, so it can work around your life and your learners' needs. Because you'll be in the center weekly, candidates must live within a two-hour drive of Sioux City.
As a BCBA at Stride, you'll carry a caseload of preschool learners (ages 2–6) and work closely with your Clinic Director, Director of Clinical Operations, and Chief Clinical Officer to drive meaningful outcomes for young learners and their families. You'll have consistent access to consultative support from thought leaders in the field of ABA, and you'll be part of a collaborative team that takes clinical excellence seriously.
This is a role for someone who wants to focus on great clinical work, supported by a structure that makes that possible.
Our Core Values
Everything we do at Stride is grounded in five principles:
Do What's Right: For clients, for families, for each other.
Continuous Improvement: We pursue growth personally and professionally, always.
Collaborate, Collaborate, Collaborate: Great clinical outcomes are a team effort.
Infuse Joy: We bring energy, warmth, and positivity to everything we do.
Care BIG: We show up fully for the children and families who trust us.
If these values reflect how you work, you'll feel at home here.
What You'll Do
Carry and manage a caseload of preschool-aged clients using structured and naturalistic teaching strategies
Conduct assessments (VB-MAPP, Vineland, etc.) and develop individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans
Supervise, train, and support RBTs through hands‑on, in‑center engagement on your weekly on‑site day and ongoing remote oversight the rest of the week
Complete treatment planning, documentation, report writing, and caregiver collaboration remotely
Partner with parents and caregivers to build skills that generalize beyond the clinic
Collaborate with the Sioux City Clinic Director and the Director of Clinical Operations to maintain best‑in‑class outcomes as Stride continues to grow
What We're Looking For
Active BCBA certification
Experience with preschool-aged clients (ages 2–6) and clinic-based settings preferred
Familiarity with structured and naturalistic teaching strategies
Familiarity with VB-MAPP, Vineland, and related assessments
Experience developing individualized treatment plans with an emphasis on skill acquisition preferred

Prior RBT or BCaBA supervision experience preferred
Ability to be on site in our Sioux City center one day per week; must reside within a two-hour drive of Sioux City
Strong commitment to clinical excellence, professional growth, and collaborative practice
Alignment with Stride's Core Values
Compensation and Benefits
Annual performance bonus up to 10% of base salary, structured to be highly achievable for clinicians meeting expectations
Hybrid structure: one on‑site day per week in Sioux City, remote the remaining days
Health, dental, vision, and disability insurance
Professional liability insurance covered by Stride
401(k) with generous employer match
Generous PTO and paid parental leave
Annual BCBA Retreat
In-house CEUs from thought leaders in the field, plus unlimited CEUs through CentralReach (CR Institute)
Predictable schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM
Why Stride
Small caseloads. A predictable schedule with just one on‑site day per week and the flexibility to do the rest of your work from home. A collaborative team model where your clinical voice is heard and your growth is supported. We are family-owned and not private equity-backed. Our executive team brings 29+ years of combined clinical experience working directly with children. When we say clinically led, we mean it.
