Job Title: Employment Defense Attorney- Hybrid
Location: Tampa, FL

Position Overview:
Our clients are seeking an experienced Employment Defense Attorney to join a growing labor and employment practice in Tampa, Florida. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience representing employers in employment-related disputes and litigation and be comfortable handling matters independently while collaborating with a broader legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent employers in employment litigation and disputes before state and federal courts and administrative agencies.
Manage employment matters from case inception through resolution , including discovery, depositions, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
Conduct and defend depositions.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active Florida Bar admission in good standing.
3+ years of employment law experience , preferably with a focus on employer-side defense.
Demonstrated experience handling employment litigation matters .
Experience with discovery, depositions, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.
Trial experience is a plus.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $200,000 – $300,000 annually . Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
