Job description
The Trust for Governors Island seeks a General Counsel to lead all legal matters, manage in-house staff and outside counsel, and guide complex transactions and risk management. You will work closely with the President, staff, and the City’s Law Department, advising on regulatory, contractual and governance issues for the island's operations and development.
JD and NY Bar are required, with at least ten years of experience in a related setting, preferably involving not-for-profit or governmental
