Job description
UC San Diego is seeking a Transplant Recovery Specialist to coordinate the surgical removal, preservation, packaging, and transportation of organs for transplant. The role includes intraoperative preservation and local/distant packaging support for recovery teams, with aseptic technique and on-call rotation coverage.
Responsibilities include organ monitoring on preservation devices, helping train new staff, and improving transportation and supply processes.
