nLicensed Pharmacist Responsibilities:
nnnEvaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and proper administration.
n
nnEnsure that dispensed medicines are correctly supplied and labeled.
n
nnCommunicate with facilities’ nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members regarding medication-related inquiries.
n
nnSupervise the preparation of medications.
n
nnMake recommendations for therapy changes to physicians and client facility staff, when necessary.
n
nnInvestigate and resolve medication-related inquiries.
n
nnMaintain customer databases, including medical history, clinical, laboratory data, and other relevant information.
n
n nSchedule: Hybrid schedule with alternating work weeks— 4/10s over night 8pm-6:30am and every other weekend. 2 days on site- 2 days remote
nQualifications:
nnnActive Pharmacist license with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy required.
n
nnPrevious Long-Term Care experience preferred.
n
nnStrong analytical and critical thinking skills.
n
nnStrong attention to detail.
n
nnAbility to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.
n
nnMust be reliable and able to multitask.
n
nnComputer literate; knowledge of the FrameworkLTC system is a plus.
n
