Job description
A full-time School Psychologist position is available near Salisbury , North Carolina area for the 2026–2027 school year. This role involves delivering high-quality psychological services to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of students. The successful candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote positive student outcomes in a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns.
Interpret evaluation data and present findings to teachers, administrators, and families.
Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
Provide consultation and support to school teams on intervention strategies and classroom accommodations.
Engage in the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes.
Assist in crisis response and prevention initiatives.
Qualifications
Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
North Carolina certification or license as a School Psychologist
Strong background in psychological testing, behavior management, and educational consultation.
Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and other relevant state/federal education regulations.
