nPosition Summary
nThe Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing HYBRID (VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON) speech and language services to students within a school-based setting in accordance with applicable federal and state laws, district policies, and professional standards. Services may include evaluations, direct therapy, indirect therapy, consultations, documentation, participation in IEP meetings, and collaboration with school staff and families to support student communication needs and educational success.
nEssential Duties and Responsibilities
nConduct speech-language evaluations and reassessments for students referred for services.
nDevelop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
nProvide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
nMaintain accurate and timely documentation, including therapy notes, progress reports, billing records, Medicaid documentation (if applicable), and compliance-related paperwork.
nParticipate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, parent conferences, and other school-related meetings as required.
nCollaborate with teachers, school staff, administrators, and families regarding student progress and communication needs.
nUtilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions appropriate to student needs.
nComply with all applicable federal, state, district, and professional regulations, including FERPA and IDEA requirements.
nMaintain professional licensure, certifications, and continuing education requirements.
nFollow all School District policies, procedures, schedules, and professional expectations.
nHYBRID POSITION, VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON.
nQualifications
nMaster’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
nCurrent state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
nCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required, depending on assignment.
nClinical Fellows Welcome
nDepartment of Education certification or educational credentialing, if required by the state or district.
nPrevious pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
nStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
nPhysical Requirements
nAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, and perform tasks associated with school-based therapy services.
nAbility to use computers, teletherapy platforms, and related technology as required.
nWork Schedule
nWork schedules shall follow the assigned School District calendar and operational needs. Services may include direct therapy, indirect services, evaluations, documentation, meetings, and other related professional responsibilities. nCompensation
nW2 Employee or 1099 Contractor Options Available Hourly Rate Range: $66.00 -$77.00
nSign On Bonus of $2000
