Job description
Hydraulic Hose Assembly TechnicianAssemble hydraulic hoses by measuring, cutting, crimping, wrapping, and attaching fittings for shipment. Participate in inventory cycle counts and maintain stock by tagging, stacking, sorting, and organizing. Clean equipment and all shop areas to ensure a tidy working environment. Participate in lean activities and adhere to safety regulations. Regularly suggest improvements and work on continuous improvement projects focused on lean, quality, and safety. Independently complete production and assemblies as required. Assist in order entry to support operational efficiency. Lift up to 50 lbs as part of assembly and production tasks.At least 3 years of experience in hydraulic or industrial hose assembly. Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including tape measures. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies. Familiarity with fluid connectors and industrial hoses. Understanding of inspection techniques for assembly quality assurance.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Marsh, MD. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
