GoJet Airlines - A&P Licensed Maintenance TechnicianLOCATION - WASHINGTON-DULLES, VANOW OFFERING BONUSES UP TO $6,000!$3,500 military or 3+ years' experience bonus$2,500 relocation bonusThe GoJet Airlines' A&P Maintenance Team plays a vital role in ensuring the safety of our passengers and is a key driver of the airline's operational performance. We are looking for highly qualified, Licensed Mechanic Technicians to fill positions at our Dulles International Airport Line Maintenance Base. As an A&P Licensed Maintenance Technician at GoJet Airlines, you will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of our aircraft to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety and performance. You will work closely with other maintenance personnel to troubleshoot and resolve issues, perform routine inspections, and comply with all regulatory requirements.Qualifications/Requirements:Must hold an FAA Airframe and Power plant licenseLegal right to work in, and travel freely in and out of, the United StatesMust possess a minimum of high school diploma or equivalentMust possess a valid driver's licenseLegally operate company vehicles and equipment with no restrictionsMust be able to provide your own toolsFCC License Helpful, but not requiredDOT required pre-employment drug testTSA required fingerprint check for Criminal History Records CheckMust be able to work any shiftMust be able to read and converse fluently in EnglishMust be able to lift 50 lbs.Able to stand for extended periods of timeAble to climb stairs, ladders, and work platformsAble to kneel, bend, and sitKey Responsibilities:Aircraft Maintenance: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, including engines, landing gear, avionics, and other critical components.Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become problems.Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, using technical manuals and sophisticated diagnostic equipment.Repair or replace defective parts, ensuring all work is completed to regulatory and company standards.Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations, company policies, and industry standards.Accurately document all maintenance work performed, including parts used, repairs completed, and inspections conducted.Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other maintenance technicians, engineers, and flight operations personnel to ensure seamless and efficient aircraft operations.Provide clear and concise communication regarding maintenance issues and status updates.Pay:Up to $2,500 in Relocation Expenses$3,500 Experience BonusIndustry leading pay scale $26.71/hr - $49.20/hrAdditional $6/hr for licensed A&P experienceGenerous annual pay increasePerformance bonuses"Promote from Within" philosophyBenefits:Health, dental & life Insurance401(k) retirement planAirline travel benefitsDiscounts on cruises, hotels, rental cars, and moreAbout GoJet Airlines:GoJet Airlines operates as a regional partner for United Airlines, providing daily flights across the U.S. and Canada.
