Job description
The Nursing Professional Development Specialist – ICU RN designs, delivers, and evaluates education that supports safe, high-quality nursing practice. This role leads onboarding, competency assessment, and continuing education for ICU and other nursing staff, applying adult learning principles and evidence-based practice. The specialist collaborates with leaders and academic partners, coaches nurses in clinical and professional growth, and supports residency and transition-to-practice initiatives within MedStar Health.
