Job description
Role Overview: Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.
Contributes to a healing environment by educating patients and families on health management and safety procedures.
Supports regulatory compliance and participates in professional growth activities.
Works in a safety-sensitive role, maintaining alertness and safe work practices at all times.
Qualifications:
Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred.
Skills: Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills.
