About This Role
The ICU Flex Team Registered Nurse 2 at Strong Memorial Hospital provides competent direct patient care in a dynamic critical care environment. This role is ideal for both new graduates and experienced nurses looking to enhance their skills across multiple Adult Intensive Care specialties.
Highlights
Pay: $40 - $54/hour
Location: Rochester, NY
Facility: Strong Memorial Hospital
Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
What You'll Do
Provide competent direct patient care based on established standards.
Contribute to unit activities and support the enhancement of the care delivery system.
Support peers in the delivery of patient care services.
Assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member.
Actively practice across multiple Adult Intensive Care specialties.
Manage changing clinical priorities using strong critical thinking and organizational skills.
Participate in a unique orientation process to build diversified, high-level skills.
Work in five distinct environments: Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Burn/Trauma ICU, Neuromedicine ICU, and Burn/Trauma Progressive Care.
Engage in clinical ladder advancement opportunities.
