Quick Facts
10 hr days - Mon - Fri, 7 am - 5 pm, 2 weeks minimum per month
10 hrs guaranteed per day for cardiac anesthesiologists
14 ORs - high-volume, busy facility
Call ratio 1:4 rotating - 1st call in-house, 2nd - 4th beeper
Post 24-hr in-house call - next day off
Wide case mix - cardiac, trauma, OB, neuro, ortho required
Cardiac comfort required - fellowship or TEE cert not mandatory
Adult population - well-rounded experience across all case types
