Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab
Shift Information
This position requires working four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with rotating days off throughout the month. Call responsibilities include one weekday per week and one weekend every four weeks.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Cath Lab is required; more than 2 years is preferred.
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) are mandatory.
Job Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will perform the following duties: Administer moderate sedation to patients as required.
Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of procedures.
Participate in various cardiac procedures including but not limited to:
Left heart catheterization
Right heart catheterization
Peripheral interventions
Carotid stenting
Aortic Aneurysm repairs (AAAs)
Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
Device implants
