Job Summary
The Software Engineer III will be responsible for building custom software solutions of high-quality while following the coding standards and technical design.
PLEASE NOTE: Ideal Candidates MUST possess the following: 7yrs. + .NET Experience, Automated Material Handling Industry Experience, and Authorized to work in the U.S without Employer Sponsorship.
Responsibilities
Designs and develops software applications
Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application developmentprocess
Typically reports to a manager
May direct the work of other software engineers.
Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project or product.
Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
Some travel is expected, up to 15%
Qualifications
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience designing and developing software applications
.NET
Proficiency with C# and the Microsoft .NET Framework
Proficiency with Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
Proficiency with troubleshooting/debugging software applications
Experience with the following technologies:
i. Windows Services
ii. Microsoft Entity Framework
iii. Dependency Injection and Extensibility Concepts
iv. Web APIs
v. SQL, LINQ
vi. Microsoft SQL Server
vii. TCP/IP
viii. .NET Framework, .NET Core
Having experience with the following development tools:
i. Microsoft Visual Studio
ii. Microsoft Azure/DevOps, Git
iii. Source Control and Bug Tracking
iv. Microsoft SQL Management Studio
v. Microsoft Visio
vi. Microsoft Office
Experience designing and developing Web based systems, as well as Client / Server basedapplications.
Experience in software development lifecycle methodology
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Must be able to speak, read and understand the English language
