nAllegheny Health Network (AHN) is building the future in its Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences by adding several services and locations to their network. The Division of Cardiothoracic Imaging is recruiting part-time and full-time thoracic and cardiothoracic radiologists for onsite/hybrid and remote positions.
nJob Duties:
nnnReading options include100% chest or a combination of chest and cardiac. Optionstointerpretbody imagingarealso available.
n
nnProvidea wide range of diagnostic services including plain film,chestand cardiac CT (with cardiac CT, gated aortic CTA), and chest MR imaging (including cardiac MRI).
n
nnEquipment includes over 11 CT scanners, including 3 Siemens dual source/energy Force CT scanners, Siemens Alpha Photon Counting CT, 128 slice CT, multiple 64 slice CT scanners, and 16 slice PET CT. Computed and digital radiography. Nine 1.5 Tesla magnetsandTwo 3 Tesla magnets.

nnParticipate fully in a large collaborative division which supplies services to 14 hospitals and imaging centers in the Greater Pittsburgh and Erie Areas.

nnInteraction with residents who canassistwith clinical care and providepreliminary interpretations.
n
nnSchedule is very flexible with full shift or fractional daily shifts available.
n
nnHigh levelof collaboration with pulmonology, cardiology, and cardiothoracic surgerydivisions

n nCompensation Overview
nnnSalary Range: $420,000-$1,100,000
n
nnCompetitive base salary withadditionalcompensation for weekend call, value-based care and academic productivity, onsite coverage, and clinical productivity
n
nnReasonablewRVUrequirements with opportunity for incentive over target
n
nnRVU expectation (based on years of experience):7,974-9,805
n
nnSigning and starting bonus eligibility

n nJob Qualifications:
nnnCertified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Radiology indiagnosticradiology and Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in cardiothoracic imaging
n
nnSuccessful completion of fellowship training in cardiothoracic imaging
n
nnBoard Eligible/Board Certified in Radiology
n
nnDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
n
nnParticipation in Maintenance of Certification or eligibility for such isrequired.
n
nnActivelyparticipatein the training program in terms of clinical and didactic teaching to the residents and medical students.
n
nnLicensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
n
nnCandidates mustresideand read within the United States and American Territories including Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and Northern Mariana Islands
