Welder / Fitter | Structural Steel Fabrication | Spokane, WAAerotek is currently hiring Welders and Fitters for a growing structural steel fabrication shop in Spokane. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity offering competitive pay, overtime, benefits, and excellent growth potential for skilled welding professionals.Pay & Benefits$22.00 - $32.00+/hour based on experience and weld test resultsOvertime opportunities availableMedical insurance and 401(k) benefitsPerformance-based pay increasesLong-term career growth opportunitiesJob ResponsibilitiesPerform Flux Core Dual Shield (FCAW) welding on structural steel componentsComplete high-volume fillet welds on steel I-beams, columns, and other structural materialsRead and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawingsFit, fabricate, and assemble structural steel componentsAssist with material handling and movement of steel products as neededMaintain quality standards and follow all workplace safety proceduresWork in a production/shop environment (no field or job-site welding)QualificationsMinimum 3+ years of welding experience, which may include a combination of work experience and welding/trade school trainingExperience with Flux Core (FCAW) or Hardwire welding requiredAbility to read blueprints and fabrication drawingsExperience fitting and fabricating structural steel componentsWABO or AWS certification preferred, but not requiredStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
