Job description
Import/Export ClerkWe are seeking a detail-oriented Import/Export Clerk to support customers with freight quotes, shipment coordination, order processing, and sales support. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.ResponsibilitiesPrepare freight quotes and assist with pricing based on customer requirementsCommunicate with customers regarding rates, shipment details, schedules, and service optionsProcess orders and shipment requests accuratelyCoordinate import and export shipments, including ocean, air, and ground freight as applicableCoordinate with carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure efficient shipment handlingTrack shipments and provide customers with status updates and documentationFollow up on quotes, customer inquiries, and pending shipmentsMaintain accurate customer, shipment, and pricing informationAssist with import/export documentation, shipment requirements, and coordination with customs or other service providersAssist with customer service, sales follow-up, and general administrative tasksQualifications2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, inside sales, or customer serviceExperience with freight quoting, import/export shipping, or shipment coordination is preferredStrong communication, customer service, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and OutlookExperience with TMS, ERP, or CRM systems is a plusStrong attention to detail and follow-up skillsCandidates already registered with us, please send an updated resume to and reference the job title.
