Import Export CoordinatorA Japanese-affiliated logistics company in the Bay Area (San Mateo County) is seeking an Import & Export Coordinator to join their team.This position is a great opportunity for someone interested in logistics, international trade, or office operations. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply, and training will be provided as you learn the day-to-day operations.The role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Responsibilities:Review import/export documents for accuracyData entry and transmission of shipment informationMonitor cargo release and arrival statusCreate delivery orders and shipment filesCommunicate with U.S. Customs, vendors, clients, airlines, and shipping companiesCoordinate with internal teams regarding shipment status and documentationProvide administrative and operational support as neededQualifications:Prior experience in the logistics field is a plus, but not requiredBasic computer and communication skillsDetail-oriented and responsibleInterest in logistics, import/export, or international business preferredPrevious office experience is a plus, but not requiredCompensation: $24–28/hr DOEWork Hours: M-F 25-29 hours/wkWork Environment:Team-oriented environmentOpportunity to gain hands-on experience in international logistics and trade operationsJapanese-English business environment
