nPrimary Responsibilities:
nnn19% Supervision Responsible for of In-Clinic pharmacy distribution as ordered by clinic staff according to State and Federal Pharmacy laws/regulations, and KSC policies and procedures10% Prepare and distribute medications to clinics on a timely basis
n
nn10% Monitors lab value and auditing capabilities for appropriate medication orders in ASC
n
nn10% Uses knowledge of specific values when reviewing medication orders in EHR
n
nn10% Collaborate with courier services to ensure optimum course of distribution
n
nn7% Maintains and monitors compliance for ASC Pharmacies
n
nn8% Able to provide pertinent drug and protocol information to physicians, nurses and patients on drug actions, side effects, and drug interactions. Knowledge of surgical medications and ASC experience
n
nn2% Trains pharmacy personnel and assigned students
n
nn4% Charge capture of all pharmaceuticals for clinic orders
n
nn5% Responsible for the proper ordering and stocking of pharmaceuticals and devices availability while achieving both monthly purchasing expenditures and inventory turns objectives
n
nn8% Collaboration with nursing colleagues
n
nn6% Collaborations with prescribing physician and allied health professionals to ensure optimum and safe course of therapy (ies)
n
nn1% Attends meetings as designated
n

nRequired Qualifications:
nnnGraduate from School of Pharmacy
n
nnTexas license Registered Pharmacist
n
nn2+ years of hospital/clinic pharmacy experience
n
nnProficiency in EPIC HER
n
nnProficiency in Automated Dispensing Cabinet
n
nnProficiency in Surgical Setting
n
nnProven to operate computer terminal
n
nnProven ability to communicate with Pharmacy Department personnel to delegate duties and inform and train about policies and procedures
n
nnProven ability to communicate with physicians and other allied health professionals regarding patient care issues
n
nnProven ability to communicate with amongst staff and in clinic patients to handle complaints and problems, assist with questions, and recommend products/recommendations
n
nnStress Tolerance - Proven to accurately distribute medication orders within the required amount of time
n
nnProven professional appearance
n
n nPreferred Qualifications:
nnnBasic Cardiac Life Support
n
nnKSC experience
n
nnProven solid hospital and surgical center background
n
nnProven to write reports (i.e., weekly/monthly) pertaining to accident/injury, maintain logs, necessary ASC records
n
nnProven excellent people management skills
n
n nPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $112,700 - $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
