In-Home Aide And CompanionCome join Givens Home First! As part of the nonprofit Givens Communities, Givens Home First supports residents within our communities and the surrounding WNC area so you can truly get to know the people you support. As an In-Home Aide and Companion, you'll have the opportunity to get to know your clients one-on-one, helping them live a healthy, happy, and safe life at home. We're looking for PRN In-Home Aide and Companions (less than 20hrs per week), with opportunities to move to PT of FT.Why you'll love this role:Flexible scheduling (days, evenings, overnights available)Consistent location for the entirety of your shiftSupportive team environment1:1 client connectionWhat you'll do:Provide companionship and emotional supportAssist with daily tasks (ADLs & IADLs) like errands, meals, and housekeepingSupport clients with household organization and routinesCommunicate updates to the care teamDocument visits and follow care plansWhat you'll need:Must have an active, unencumbered NC drivers licenseAbility to assist with mobility and daily tasksCurrent CPR Certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain)Experience preferred, but not requiredPRN Perks:Very flexible schedulingShift differentials + holiday payReferral bonusesCompensation is $17.00-$18.00 per hour based on experience, plus shift differentials!Still curious about what Givens is all about? We already have five communities (three life plan communities and two affordable communities) with plans for many more in the coming years.
