We have a vibrant, fast-paced, and friendly office environment and are hoping to find the right person to join our expanding office team.Job Description SummaryThe In Home Caregiver is a member of the team who works under the supervision of the Administrator to perform various personal care services as necessary to meet the client's needs, according to the plan of care. The Caregiver is responsible for observing clients, reporting these observations, and documenting observations and care performed.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities of the Caregiver include, but are not limited to the following:BathingGroomingAssist the client with dressing and undressingAssist the client with toileting activitiesProvide client with help walking and transferringObserve client's physical, mental and emotional conditionsReport any change to the supervisorDocument observed changesAssist client in the self-administration of medication (medication reminder)Preparation of mealsDoing dishesLaundryShoppingHousehold choresCompanionship and SocializationTransportationReport to the supervisor any incidents, problems, emergencies, or changes in client's conditionIdentifies and participates in performance improvement activitiesAssist in providing a safe environment and promote quality patient care through adherence to established policies, procedures and standardsUse equipment properly and in a safe mannerMaintain appropriate work recordsQualificationsHigh school diploma, preferredMust consent to and pass a background screening processHave a baseline and annual TB test on record with Seniors Helping Seniors Kansas City Metro SouthComplete a self-reported health historySelf-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervisionDemonstrate effective oral and written communication skillsAbility to express spoken and/or written ideas in EnglishWorks as a team member
