Caregiver/CNAWilliamson, Franklin, Jackson CountyVillage Caregiving is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, in-home caregiver/CNA to assist clients with their daily activities in the comfort of their own home. The position will require Caregivers traveling to and from the client(s) home in and around Williamson, Franklin, and Jackson County areas.ResponsibilitiesProvide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eatingCompanionshipRemind clients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulationHelp with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, errands, walks etc.)Plan and prepare mealsAssist with physical therapy exercisePerform light housekeeping dutiesReport any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencyOffer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessaryUse common sense principalsQualificationsEnjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skillsTimeliness and self-disciplineAvailability to meet client needs as requestedDependabilityAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related dutiesValid driver’s license and reliable transportationValidated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive mannerAvailable to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekendsPrior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (preferred)Willingness to enforce health and safety standardsSupportive and compassionateHigh School Diploma or equivalentExperience as a Caregiver (preferred)CNA/SRNA/HHA or completion of a CNA Program (preferred)Take pride in providing high quality careHoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)$16.50 - $19.00 per HourExperience is great, but NOT required.Plethora of benefits offered both part- and full-time employees including: Dental and Vision insuranceAccident InsuranceHospital InsuranceShort-Term Disability (STD) InsuranceCritical Illness InsuranceWhole Life InsuranceBonus incentives for great work.
