Senior Helpers of culture is based on strong core values, recognition of achievements and respect.GREAT JOB OPPORTUNITY!SENIOR HELPERS OF RIVERSIDE-HOME CARE IS HIRING CAREGIVERS FOR POSITIONS IN Riverside AS WELL AS SURROUNDING CITIES FOR IMMEDIATE START.REQUIREMENTS:MINIMUM OF ONE YEAR OF EXPERIENCE- ADDITIONAL TRAINING IS ALSO AVAILABLE IN OUR SENIOR HELPERS CENTER OF EXCELLENCE TRAINING CENTER.BENEFITS:401K SAVING AND COMPANY MATCHING 401kREFERRAL BONUSESANNIVERSARY BONUSESRECOGNITION BONUSESFLEXIBLE HOURSHOURLY PAY RATE: 18.00 TO 20.00 DOLLARSDuties:Promote resident rights and maintain a safe and comfortable environment- Assist clients with activities of daily living - Provide companionship and emotional support - Administer medication reminders - Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary - Perform light housekeeping tasks - Help clients with mobility and transportation needsQualifications :- Previous experience in care giving or a related field preferred - Knowledge of resident rights and principles of patient care - Ability to lift and transfer individuals using proper body mechanics - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Familiarity with medication administration systems is a plusRequirements- Ability to lift and perform heavy lifting tasks- Experience in memory care or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus- Proficiency in direct support services- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and patient observation- Cooking skills for meal preparation- Previous experience in home care is beneficialWe offer competitive pay rates and flexible scheduling options.
