Job description
Caregiver - Seneca, SCJoin our team at Home Matters Caregiving, a caregiver-focused, in-home care agency serving seniors and adults throughout Clemson, Pickens, Oconee, and surrounding Upstate South Carolina communities. We prioritize strong communication, consistent support, and long-term relationships with our caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will play a critical role in helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.Responsibilities:Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)Provide personal care including hygiene, grooming, and mobility assistancePrepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundryOffer companionship and emotional supportMonitor client safety and report changes to the care teamFollow individualized care plans and document daily activitiesRequirements:Must be at least 21 years of ageMinimum 2 years of caregiving experience (home care or facility-based)Must reside in South CarolinaValid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insuranceFirst Aid certification required per DHEC (paid training provided if needed)Must pass background check and drug screeningDependable, punctual, and professionalAble to meet the physical demands of caregiving, including lifting up to 50 lbsCompensation & Benefits:Starting pay: $17.00 per hourOpportunity for pay increases based on experience, availability, and performanceWeekly payMileage reimbursementPaid orientation and trainingHoliday payPerformance-based raises$50 sign-on stipend after first two weeks (35+ hours worked, no no call/no shows)Why Join Us?We offer fulfilling careers where we train our team members to provide excellence in care.
