CNA/HHA Caregiver OpportunitiesAssisting Hands Home Care is growing, and we are looking for dependable CNAs and HHAs who want meaningful caregiver work. We provide one on one care in client homes throughout Jacksonville, Duval County, St Johns County, and surrounding areas. If you want to work for a local agency where people know your name, communicate with you, and appreciate good work, we want to talk with you.We are not a registry and this is not a contractor position, Our caregivers are W2 employees of Assisting Hands Home Care. Caregivers receive:Typical pay of $17+ per hour for most casesHigher rates on select assignmentsSame day pay access through TapCheckDirect depositReferral bonusesMileage reimbursement between same day client visitsFlexible schedulingPart time and full time opportunitiesOvertime opportunities when availableLocal office supportClient needs vary, so our schedules do too. Available shifts may include:Weekday shiftsWeekend shiftsMorning shiftsAfternoon shiftsEvening shiftsSome overnight shiftsFour hour shiftsEight hour and twelve hour shifts when availableWe work to match caregivers with cases based on availability, experience, client needs, and reasonable travel distance.Assisting Hands is locally owned by a husband and wife team who are involved in the agency every day. We know how important dependable caregivers are to our clients and families. We also know caregivers do their best work when the office communicates with them, supports them, and treats them with respect. Hard work and reliability matter here.You will help clients remain safe, comfortable, and supported at home. Care may include:Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toiletingMobility and transfer assistanceMeal preparationMedication remindersCompanionship and conversationLight housekeeping for the clientErrands or appointments when part of the care planReporting changes, concerns, or schedule issues to the officeOur clients include seniors, disabled adults, people recovering from illness or surgery, and adults who need companionship or personal care.Our clients need caregivers they can count on. You should be kind, dependable, professional, and honest about your availability. If you accept a shift, show up on time, follow the care plan, treat the client with dignity, and communicate when something changes.You must have:Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificateLevel Two Background ScreeningRecent TB screeningClassroom CPR certificationHIV AIDS trainingAlzheimers and Related Dementias trainingAssistance with Self Administration of Medication trainingReliable transportation to client homesExperience providing personal careStrong communication skillsComfort with pets is preferred because many clients have pets at home.If you are looking for CNA HHA caregiver or home care work with a growing local agency, apply today.
