Levin Furniture In-Home Furniture TechnicianLevin Furniture is looking for a skilled and customer-focused In-Home Furniture Technician to join our team in Bedford, OH. In this role, you'll help ensure our customers receive the highest quality products and service by inspecting, repairing, and restoring furniture in customers' homes and residential settings.If you have experience with wood, fabric, and leather upholstery repair and enjoy hands-on work with excellent customer interaction, we'd love to hear from you!The In-Home Furniture Technician is responsible for inspecting, evaluating, and repairing merchandise while maintaining high standards for product handling, safety, and customer service. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism in a residential work environment.Inspect, evaluate, and repair furniture merchandisePerform repairs on wood, fabric, leather upholstery, and bedding productsFollow safe and secure material handling proceduresReport documentation errors or discrepancies to supervisorsComplete paperwork and digital photo documentation accurately and neatlyMaintain organized and accurate customer parts inventorySafely operate manual and mechanical equipmentMaintain a clean and safe work environmentPerform additional duties as assignedExcellent verbal, written, and listening communication skillsStrong organizational and customer service abilitiesBasic reading comprehension skillsAbility to complete paperwork accurately and efficientlyHigh school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experienceMastery of wood, fabric, and leather upholstery repairBedding inspection certification in accordance with manufacturer guidelines preferredAbility to frequently bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull, and lift 50–100+ lbs. repetitivelyAbility to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers by phone and in personAbility to use a computer and read documents/screens regularlyWork Environment: Residential / In-home serviceTravel: RequiredSupervisor Responsibilities: NoneSchedule may vary based on business needsApply today and become part of a team dedicated to delivering quality furniture and exceptional customer experiences!
