In-Home Hospice & Euthanasia Veterinarian — Salt Lake City & Herriman, Utah
Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinarians to serve pet families across Metropolitan Salt Lake City & Herriman, Utah area. $110-000 - $140,000 you set your own schedule, and there is no non-compete agreement .

What you need
DVM, VMD, BVMS , or equivalent degree from an accredited or otherwise qualifying program
Active Pennsylvania veterinary license , or eligibility to obtain one
Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel between appointments
Comfort working independently in the field
Empathetic, clear communication during end-of-life conversations
Availability for rotational weekend scheduling
Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and assist with up to 100 lbs, with reasonable accommodation
Successful background and motor vehicle record check after hire

Common questions
Is there a non-compete? No. Heartstrings does not use veterinarian non-compete agreements of any kind.
Do I set my own schedule? Yes. Scheduling is self-managed, with rotational weekend coverage.
Where would I work? In pet families' homes across Metropolitan Pittsburgh and Washington, Pennsylvania — no clinic, no waiting room.
Do I need prior hospice experience? No. GP and ER veterinarians transition into this work successfully, and you'll be supported by our veterinary medical team.
