Job description
Associate General Counsel
Salary: $170,280 – $221,365 per year.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent legal advice and offer proactive and creative solutions to resolve legal, procedural, or administrative issues in compliance with all applicable legal standards across broad practice areas, including student affairs, faculty affairs, employment, labor, business affairs, contracts, and policy.
Perform activities related to litigation in state and federal court as well as administrative agencies, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal briefs, and representing the university at depositions, hearings, and trials. Supervise the work of outside counsel.
