Job description

At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of RNs strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional patient experiences.

Do you want to experience the thrill of travel nursing without leaving Idaho and the St. Luke’s Health System? Then the Clinical Support Unit’s internal Specialty Travel RN Program is for you!

We're looking for someone who thrives in dynamic environments—flexible, quick to adapt, and able to hit the ground running in new teams and settings.

You’ll be able to travel and gain experience at all eight St. Luke’s locations – Boise, Meridian, Nampa, McCall, Wood River, Elmore, Magic Valley, and Jerome. Typical assignments are 13-weeks in length at any of our eight St. Luke’s sites across the System but could be as short as one week depending on need. When you're not on assignment, you will be required to work at your home-base hospital. Your “home base” can be located at any of our St. Luke’s sites.

What you can expect from this role

This is a permanent staff position with St. Luke's Health System and eligible for employee benefits including PTO

Full Time variable shift (required to work both days & nights); Shifts will not be changed more than once in a 6-week block

When you travel outside of your home area, it also includes a $200/wk food stipend

Housing allowance or accommodations at one of our owned condos/apartments (Due to company policy unable to bring pets on assignment)

Paid travel time and mileage reimbursement to and from the assignment

Tiered compensation rate based on your nursing degree and experience

How we support your development

Degree advancement through tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 per calendar year

Certification reimbursement program for achieving certifications/credentials that above and beyond requirements in your role AND earn extra pay for eligible certifications

Professional training programs, scholarships and more

Everyone has a voice

Join our care council teams and shared governance committees to help improve our processes and quality of care

Qualifications

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Nursing Degree

Experience: 2 years RN experience in Labor & Delivery; 3+ years preferred

Licenses/Certifications: Current RN License in the State of Practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required
