Job description
IPQC InspectorJob Function: As an IPQC you will be responsible for monitoring quality standards for nearly all manufactured products. The IPQC Inspector's duties include performing SMT first article inspection responsible to inspect, measure and identify the part marking, component measurement, component identification, polarity of electronic components related to PCBA assembly, visual inspection using magnifying lens, microscope and basic measurement and inspection tools/devices, basic computer skills to read/record inspection data and information, be able to understand the IPC-A-610 standard to comply workmanship acceptability, communication with other department and function, and able to use AOI machine (Automatic optic Inspection) Shift: Day/Swing Job Type: Full-Time/Contracted (Potential for Permanent Conversion) Responsibilities:Using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble unitsPerform SMT in-process inspection on electronic and mechanical components related to PCBA assemblyFollow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and proceduresUse basic inspection tool/device, example: magnifying lens, microscope, caliper, and color pantoneMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededSkills:Great verbal and written communication skillsFamiliarity with electronic and mechanical components related to PCBA contract manufacturingAccuracy for documentationEffectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employeesCommon sense to solve practical problemsKnowledge of ESD, IPC-600/610, workmanship standards and experienceAttention to detailQualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentBenefits PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
