Job description
A rapidly growing NYC-based technology company is seeking a Tax Director to join its lean, highly visible tax team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership on a wide range of domestic and international tax matters within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
The position will have responsibility for overseeing the income tax provision, managing global tax compliance processes with external advisors, supporting tax planning and transaction-related initiatives, and assisting with audits and tax authority matters. This individual will also play a key role in driving process improvements and leveraging technology and automation to help scale the tax function as the company continues its impressive growth trajectory.

Requirements
6+ years of income tax experience in large public accounting or industry tax group
Good ASC 740 and corporate tax compliance
Must demonstrate strong experience with technology, automation and AI tools
Experience working at a pre-IPO company or on a pre-IPO client is a plus
Exposure to transfer pricing principles and international tax concepts is a plus
Must be able to work in West Village office 3 to 4 days a week
