Incoming Prototype Part InspectorLocation: Carrollton Technology Center – Carrollton, TX (onsite only)Onsite/Remote: Day 1 Onsite at customer locationRequirements/Capabilities:1. Technical Drawing Standards Proficiency Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and associated product definition, including: Dimensions and tolerances Geometric Dimensioning Tolerancing (GD T) Surface finish symbols, notes, and special requirements2. Inspection Measurement Skills Proficient in the use of precision measuring equipment, including: Calipers, micrometers, height gauges Bore gauges, pin gauges, and depth gauges Dial indicators and comparators Knowledge of measurement system capability and basic metrology principles3. Quality Systems Documentation Ability to complete and review: Inspection reports Nonconformance reports Understanding of traceability and documentation control requirements4. Nonconformance Corrective Action Awareness Ability to identify, document, and clearly communicate nonconforming material Ability to work with engineering and prototype coordinators to support disposition decisions5. Manufacturing Process Awareness General knowledge of common manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, fabrication, forming, finishing)6. Attention to Detail Accuracy Demonstrated ability to perform high?accuracy inspections with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail when comparing physical parts to drawing requirements Commitment to maintaining objectivity and integrity in inspection results7. Communication Collaboration Clear verbal and written communication skills Comfortable working in a cross?functional team environment8. Computer Data Skills Basic proficiency with: SAP (preferred) Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Ability to accurately enter, review, and retrieve inspection data9.
